Rule
based monitoring/billing
Rules
are used extensively in the billing of VoIP services from
trunks, minutes, 800 numbers and more. PBX Billing plans are
defined as a plan that provides minutes or not and allows
customers to signup based on a set fee. Additional minutes
are also provided that allow companies to be charged for overages.
The subsystem within HIATLANTIS provides the ability to create
plans and change them as need.
Cutoff/Notification
options
The cutoff/notification
options allow you to define the automatic billing process
of the system based on recharge amounts assigned to a customer.
The recharge amount is used with the application to make certain
that an account does not fall too far behind. This is used
with all accounts, however accounts that have an associated
credit amount in the customer record are bypassed on this
account. This means that if a customer has a credit line with
the provider of the service, and there is an amount of credit,
this table is not used in the billing process. The method
in checking those customers with credit lines is defined in
the cron rules jobs that run outside of this system.
Customer
accessibility
Customers
are provided an interface that allows them to perform a multiple
of functions on hosted systems. These functions include the
ability to change the routing of calls and also to change
the way voicemail is delivered to the end-user. The customer
interface is provided on HIATLANTIS allowing companies or
individuals to check minutes, or effect changes while all
changes are recorded on the HIATLANTIS main system. This allows
you, as the hosting provider, to maintain and record all activities
so when a customer contacts you with an issue, all information
is logged on HIATLANTIS.
Call
record auto generation
Call records
are created automatically when automated billing doesn't work
properly. This allows a company to make calls before calling
the customer with any issues on the call records. When credit
lines are maxed, depending on rules, a call record can be
generated to allow the calls to be made by credit personnel.
